The WORK

Amy is a classically trained, figurative painter and an eternal dream worker. "I use my dreams as inspiration and cues to create work that expresses the visions and meanings within the dream space, a space that potentially reveals glimpses of the soul and universality".
Through dreams, a window to a creative subconscious, the poetic primary imagination is opened. Through my work, I push the continuum between the current and the timeless, the exact and the blurred boundaries, the individual and the shared experience, the real and disrupted real. I strive to push myself to explore and exploit that space between.
My art relies on research and experimentation, this freedom is what keeps me passionate about the process.
